Medical Practice and Social Media?

    Medical Practice and Social Media?

I have worked with a variety of Single Providers and outside of Healthcare as well. It seems we still have misconception on what needs to happen when you own your own business. I know most providers did not go to business school nor did they ever want to run their own businesses alone. This seems to be the case for an industry already burdened with high cost of malpractice insurance and low returns on insurance payments.  Time spent with patients and time spent with customers is giving no value to our intended audience, THE PATIENT!  With this in mind companies like mine have reduced the need for print ad marketing and increased the visual and social attention that we need to get new patients / customers in the door for a variety of services.  I only have one post up about a recent project of mine but there are several .  They all follow the same path of growth after my initial run through and programmatic approach to what the provider needed.

This is how it works:

First Run SEO:

What is SEO = SEO

noun

Computing

  1. short for search engine optimization.

“digital is now the company’s main marketing channel with the majority of investment going on SEO”

What goes into SEO?

To understand what SEO really means, let’s break that sentence down and look at the parts:

  • Quality of traffic. You can attract all the visitors in the world, but if they’re coming to your site because Google tells them you’re a resource for Apple computers when really you’re a farmer selling apples, that is not quality traffic. Instead you want to attract visitors who are genuinely interested in products that you offer.
  • Quantity of traffic. Once you have the right people clicking through from those search engine results pages (SERPs), more traffic is better.
  • Organic results. Ads make up a significant portion of many SERPs. Organic traffic is any traffic that you don’t have to pay for.

Organic search traffic is specifically any unpaid traffic that comes from SERPs.

Here’s how it works: Google (or any search engine you’re using) has a crawler that goes out and gathers information about all the content they can find on the Internet. The crawlers bring all those 1s and 0s back to the search engine to build an index. That index is then fed through an algorithm that tries to match all that data with your query.

AS you can see then we run into Ads:  What Ads do for your business depends on what we are trying to promote.  Ask me and I can dive in.

Last part is Social Media and Social Media Ads.  Social media is now included in most digital marketing programs as the number two search engine is Youtube and the number 5 most commonly used search engine is FaceBook.  Yes, this means we target your customers “here” to provide quality leads and generate profits to your business.

WE are available to start with your website today.

Side note: this article came out in 2013, maybe you should take a look at it if you are in healthcare, if not you still understand the value at thsi point.
